he began to sing tangos as a recreational activity because it was something that simply meant fun for her. Hardly anyone had imagined that, time later, it would turn out her true passion.

In fact, her start as singer was curious. It took place due to the Pre-Festival de Tango de Junín 2009. Even though she was a successful corporative lawyer she decided to enroll for that contest and ended up in being one of its winners. There on the stage of the Teatro de la Ranchería, she was so satisfied and happy that she was urged to make an important change in her life. She quit her profession and became a tango singer.

Having a strong voice and an alto range she started to sing at different venues around the world.

In June 2010 she was invited to appear at the South American Festival of Negev in Israel where she reached a successful debut. Besides her appearances at the Negev Desert she also appeared in Tel-Aviv, Jaffa and Rannana.

Since September 2010 Carolina has been alternately appearing either in Buenos Aires or in the United States, especially in Boston where she is based now.

She performed in the most prestigious tango venues as: Los 36 Billares, Centro Cultural Torquato Tasso and also at the Coliseo Podesta Theatre at La Plata city.

In 2012 was released her first album titled Pa’ que se callen, which featured the musical direction and arrangements by guitarist José Torelli. The repertoire includes works from all periods of tango history, such as: “Canción de rango (Pa' que se callen)”, “Déjame no quiero verte más”, “Sin palabras”, “Cimarrón de ausencia”, “Cariño”, “Patio mío” y “Mi ciudad y mi gente”.
