e began his career in the early 2001, appearing at contests and shows at nearby neighborhoods. In one of them he came to know Claudio Tagini, Rody Groppo and Zully Goldfarb who encouraged him to devote himself entirely to tango.

He appeared and won at the last «Carlos Gardel» Contest, in 2002. Thereafter, this contest was called «Hugo Del Carril». Thanks to this award he was invited to perform along with the Orquesta del Tango de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, conducted by Carlos García and Raúl Garello. He appeared as guest artist with this orchestra several times and he even went on a tour of Chile with this aggregation.

The following year he represented the city of Buenos Aires at the prestigious National Festival of Folk Music in Cosquín (Córdoba) and was awarded with the Revelation prize.

Now labelled as tango singer he was chosen to appear at the Festival de Tango de La Falda (Córdoba) in 2004. After he was consecrated as winner of the contest he was hired to record his first compact disc Soy cantor, released by EPSA Music.

He always appeared alongside great bandleaders of the level of Carlos García, Raúl Garello, Atilio Stampone, Néstor Marconi, Osvaldo Berlingieri, Andres Linetzky, among others.

In 2005 he made two international tours with the Vale Tango group and recorded with them as guest singer on the disc entitled Bardi.

He also travelled to Japan with Osvaldo Berlingieri with whom he returned to Japan in 2007.

In 2006 and 2007 he was the leading singer at the Boccatango show when the dancer Julio Bocca appeared abroad in his last shows before retiring. He also sang alongside the latter at the show staged on the Avenida 9 de Julio where he was watched by 500.000 people. This event was on TV and aired worldwide.

He is currently featured at the Hotel Faena in Puerto Madero at the show Rojo tango.

Nowadays he is the vocalist of the traditional tango venue El Viejo Almacén.
