He was writer, journalist and critic of theater, a close friend of Gardel’s and linked to the world of tango and turf. The Prince of Wales (Edward VIII) was also his friend. He met him in Paris where he lived for many years. He wrote in Crítica and was friend of its director Natalio Botana. He also ventured in the movies with his film “Bodas de sangre” (1938), in which the actress Margarita Xirgu was starred. He patronized the still then unknown Eva Duarte, when she was a humble little star on radio. |
