Gaspar Astarita
(January 1928 – 6 June 2003)

He was a tango researcher, writer and journalist. His book “Estos fueyes también tienen su historia”, by Ediciones La Campana in 1987 is an important work of reference. Furthermore he founded and directed the “Tango y Lunfardo” magazine that has been published from long since in his beloved city of Chivilcoy, province of Buenos Aires. He was one of those luxuries we can indulge in Todo Tango, but above all, he was a great friend who die in 2003.
