his duo is formed by the brothers Matías and Agustín Faggiano, two young guitarists of the new generation of tango musicians.

They approach a wide repertory which predominantly include tangos, waltzes and milongas; their book also has a variety of popular music from different places of the world. Besides their repertoire of instrumentals, with their guitars they accompany singers like Maria José Mentana, Oscar Ferrari, among others; furthermore they back artists, like Roberto Piazza, who dare to interpret tango. They share a show with the latter at the Moliere theater.

They have appeared at many venues in the Capital Federal and the Greater Buenos Aires. Among them, we can mention: Academia Nacional Del Tango, Museo Mundial del Tango, Academia Porteña del Lunfardo, Museo Casa Carlos Gardel, Café Tortoni, Taconeando, Casona del Teatro, Café Homero, Esquina Homero Manzi, Los 36 billares, Bien Porteño, El Argentino, Radio Nacional, Salón Dorado de la Legislatura Porteña, and also their appearance at the Festival Buenos Aires Tango.

They have recorded a compact disc that belongs to the collection “Nuestras guitarras”. In March 2007 the duo’s second disc will be released. It contains interpretations on guitar and guitarrón, besides the customary guitar duos and guitar solos.

Nowadays, they have been chosen at the contest for players for the Programación Cultural de los Bares Notables 2007 and stage shows in theaters, café concerts and all kinds of private performances.
