Antonio Rodríguez Villar
He is a guitar strummer and singer turned into an academician. Edmundo Rivero’s protegé and a devotee of our folk music, an excellent journalist and chronicler of tango. At his place you will never miss a glass of red wine and an empanada (an Argentine type of pie) in an intellectual, porteño ambience adorned with the best melodies. He has several defects but it’s no use to mention them, only this one as an example: his friendship with Ricardo García Blaya.
